How Desco protects YOU

Your security is our top priority. That's why we go out of our way to make sure your information is protected. These are just a few of the things we do to ensure your privacy:
  • We use ChexSystems and ChexSystems' "Fraud Finder" to verify new accounts.
  • We always check your ID (normally your driver's license) and make sure your ID is current when opening a new account and when performing transactions in the branch.
  • When you call in to talk to a service representative, specific questions are asked so that we know we are talking to YOU.
  • We mail change of address confirmation letters to your address of record.
  • Your social security number is excluded from your mailed account statements.
  • Your member number is excluded from your ATM receipts.
  • Our entire website, not just Online Banking, is behind a firewall to protect your online transactions and inquiries.
