Reality Fairs: Real-World Financial Learning for Our Community

The Credit Union is proud to host Reality Fairs for local schools and community organizations as part of our commitment to financial education and community well-being.

A Reality Fair is an interactive, hands-on experience that gives participants a realistic look at everyday financial decisions. Students and community members step into real-life scenarios—managing income, paying bills, budgeting for housing, transportation, food, and more—while learning how choices today can impact financial stability tomorrow.

Building Confidence Through Education

Reality Fairs help participants:

  • Understand budgeting and money management in a practical, engaging way
  • Learn the true cost of living and everyday financial responsibilities
  • Develop critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Gain confidence in navigating real-world financial situations
  • Learn what credit is, how it works, and why building and maintaining good credit is essential to long-term financial stability and future opportunities

By bringing these experiences directly into schools and community spaces, we help empower individuals with knowledge that supports long-term financial success.

A Free Resource for Schools & Organizations

As a community-focused credit union, we offer Reality Fairs at no cost to participating schools and organizations. Our team works closely with educators and community leaders to tailor each event to the age group and needs of participants, ensuring a meaningful and impactful experience.
